Underclass Hero

Hey all!

Welcome to The Sounds first post, The album i’m writing about tonight is Underclass Hero by Sum 41, one of the most influential records i listened to growing up and some of the music that sparked my interest in starting We Are OH Studios. Underclass hero is still regarded in my book at least as one of the most definitive records Sum 41 put out after their 2004 record Chuck the record starts off with a LITERAL banger with the title track Underclass Hero followed by Walking Disaster.

For it’s release in 2007 it stood as a feel good summer record that i listened to as a kid non-stop for weeks on end as with Riot! by Paramore (but we’ll get to that one..). Their song Walking Disaster is one of my ALL-TIME favorite songs because of the time and place i was as a teenager playing video games as a thirteen year old and staying up late after school playing Second Life and Halo with my friends this song and record just led me so many different places.

I got to see Sum 41 in 2017 with my long-time friend Cory Bronder here in Lancaster and it’s still by far one of my favorite shows i have been to.

My favorites off of the record are Walking Disaster, Dear Father, March of The Dogs, Best of Me and With Me.
