Recap: Flyers Take Second Wildcard Seed from Detroit in Stellar 4-2 win.

The stars aligned in Denver as the Philadelphia Flyers came into the game trailing 1-0 over the Avalanche and then it happened, Shayne Gostisbehere and Pierre-Édouard Bellemare knock it in to tie the game up at 1 a piece, Ghost was given the assist and Bellemare the goal and it just ignited from there, Steve Mason stopped numerous pucks and allowed a goal before Radko Gudas slapped in the second goal for the Flyers to tie it up at 2-2 and then Brayden Schenn passed to Claude Giroux for a stellar goal that took the lead and 19 seconds apart from Gudas' goal! Steve Mason held off countless pucks before Colorado pulled their goal-tender and Ryan White scored the empty net goal sealing the score 4-2.

Steve Mason looked discomforted after the game win and we'll keep you posted on his situation on our twitter @WR05Sports. Anthony Stolarz is the backup to him since Michal Neuvirth is undergoing surgery.

The Flyers are back at it again on Saturday against the Coyotes
